Welcome to the Proud Rural America Project

The Proud Rural America Project is dedicated to reclaiming the beauty of America’s farm and ranch lands through environmentally friendly practices of recycling and re-purposing of old, dilapidated or discarded implements, buildings, vehicles, junk, etc.

Some of the old vehicles and implements found on rural farms and ranches add a touch of nostalgia and beauty to the landscape. However in most cases the various implements, vehicles, old buildings, etc. become an eye sore and detract from the natural rural beauty.

The difficulty associated with proper disposal of these items often discourages owners from doing so and with few options it is easier to ignore the items where they lay.

Proud Rural America is a project in partnership with the Independent Faith Church to beautify rural farm and ranch land by removing old implements, automobiles, machinery, junk, scrap metal, wood, dilapidated out buildings and barns, etc. to be recycled or re-purposed.

This project has 4 fundamental objectives:

The beautification of our rural lands through removal of unsightly, unused, discarded objects.

 Raise funds for the IFC charitable activities.

Provide service project opportunities to at risk youth and jobs for willing hard workers to promote pride and self-respect through honest labor and fair wages.

Promote environmentally sound solutions as well as learning opportunities through active recycling and repurposing projects.

Our crews will remove any of the items listed for a tax deductible donation which will be applied 100% to the charitable programs of the IFC.

Any proceeds from recycling or repurposing of the items removed are used to cover direct expenses (fuel, paid labor, accommodations and food for larger projects, etc.) and we will provide a tax deductible receipt for all items we haul away. (Check with your tax professional to determine appropriate deduction amounts).

Any residual funds are transferred to the charitable programs of the IFC. NONE of the proceeds are used for administrative costs, overhead or anything unrelated to the Proud Rural America Project or Charity.

Our administrative and ministerial staff are all volunteers.
